
The King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace is set to host “The Edwardians: Age of Elegance,” a major exhibition running from April 11 to November 23, 2025.
Exhibition Highlights:
- Extensive Collection: The exhibition will feature over 300 items, nearly half of which are being displayed for the first time. These include fashion pieces, jewelry, paintings, photographs, books, sculptures, and ceramics, offering a comprehensive insight into the Edwardian era.
- Royal Focus: Visitors will explore the lives and tastes of two of Britain’s most fashionable royal couples—King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, and King George V and Queen Mary. The exhibition delves into their family lives, personal collections, social circles, global travels, and the spectacular royal events they hosted.
- Notable Artists: The showcase includes works from celebrated artists and designers of the period, such as Carl Fabergé, Frederic Leighton, Edward Burne-Jones, Laurits Tuxen, John Singer Sargent, Olive Edis, Philip de László, William Morris, Oscar Wilde, and Edward Elgar.
